Wow, May was a whirlwind of a month! Braxton finished up preschool for the year and he also wrapped up his first season of Blastball. He is now the proud owner of his first (and I'm sure many) plastic trophies! It now sits next to his first team picture and he is so proud of it! Auston has been spending his days packing on the pounds and growing like crazy. He went in for his two month check-up today and he is now 11 lbs, 12 oz (50%) and is 22 inches long (10-25%). I am also happy to report that his head has decided to slow down a bit on growing. His noggin dropped down to the 25% (down quite a bit from the 97% from last month!!). It gave me relief to know that we may actually find hats to fit him when he is older after all! He is just getting so big. He is now sleeping about an eight hour stretch at night (Praise the Lord!!!) and is starting to smile and coo. It is too cute! We are enjoying getting to experience all of his "firsts." To wrap up the month, we enjoyed a nice Memorial Day holiday at Nana & Pops' lakehouse. All of the family was in town, so it was nice to get to see everyone and introduce them to our newest member of the family. We also got to meet our new nephew Klayton for the first time so that was really cool, too. Braxton and Jimmy had a ball on Pops' boat and splashing around in the lake while me and "the chunk" soaked up some sunshine and fresh air on the deck. It was a nice way to officially kick off the summer!
