Braxton is FOUR years old!

I can't believe it, but our sweet boy turned four on August 9th. We celebrated by having a party at a place called Hero's. There were games, bounce houses, pizza, cake, and "carnival" games. What more could a kid want to start off a new year? We would like to thank all of our friends and family for driving all the way out to "D-town" to celebrate with us. Braxton had a ball and said that it was his "best birthday ever!" Here are a few pictures from the party. I especially like the one of the big kids in the bounce house (Aunt Vic, Uncle Adam & Jimmy!!).

A Dad's "Best Day Ever"!!!

I was thinking, what are the best days in a dad's life?

1) The day your kids receive Christ into their lives.
2) The day your kids were born.
3) The day your kids attend their first ball game!!!

The list drops off very quickly from there for me. Now someone further along in the parenting journey might try to add a few others to this list like the day their kids meet their future spouse, or the day they graduate, or even the day they move out of the house - but lets be honest dad's, that first ball game is ONE VERY COOL MOMENT!!!

Not only did I get to share this Rangers Game with my boys, I got to share it with my dad as well. Think about the last time you took in a game with your family - if it's been longer than you can remember, then stop what your doing and go buy some tickets!!! Trust me, it's worth it.
