Blastball Highlights
As promised, here is the highlight reel from Braxton's Blastball Game this past weekend. It may be a little long for the average viewer (about 7 minutes) but I'm his dad, so I loved every minute of it. Enjoy...

me and my boys
Me and my boys were watching a little of the NCAA Basketball Tournament when Tricia asked us to pause long enough for a picture. With three boys in the house now, my mission of "all sports all the time" on TV is almost complete.

Blastball
Braxton started his first season of Blastball this morning. In fact, not only is it his first Blastball season, it is his first team sport to participate in (you can only imagine how this makes a dad feel, seeing his boy getting dirty and having fun with the other boys).
So what is Blastball? Well, I would say it is a combination of tee-ball and organized chaos. One team plays the field and everyone stands on their own "carpet square". This way the team playing defense knows where to stand. The other team bats, and everyone on the team gets to hit. Once a player hits the ball he runs to first base only, where he then jumps on the base (yes, you can't just run through the base - you must jump on it because it has a horn in it that honks when you jump on it). The team in the field all take off after the ball once it's hit and the kid who gets to it first picks it up, holds it over their head and screams "Blastball". Once the batter has jumped on first base and the team in the field gets the ball - the play is over. Time for the next batter. I must say it is great fun to watch and our coach - Coach Todd Starnes does a great job with all of our little guys!!!
Here are a few pictures - I will try to put together a quick highlight video of Braxton's first game tomorrow and post it here as well, so make sure to check back for the "sportscenter plays of the day".

Home Sweet Home
Wednesday afternoon the hospital finally released Tricia and Auston. We are all excited to be home, including big brother Braxton. But don't let the sweet little picture of Braxton with Auston fool you, when we told Braxton it was time to go to Pops' and Nana's for the rest of the week - he jumped in the car so fast we could barely get a hug and kiss goodbye!!!

Auston Luke York is here...
WOW!!! What a day!!!
At 1:13pm on Monday, March 31st - Auston Luke came into this world. He was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long.
I know he is my boy, but what a handsome little dude. It's kinda funny - he looks a lot like Braxton did as a newborn, but he has brown hair. Tricia thinks he might have a little dimple, but that has yet to be determined (I think she is searching for some if not any resemblance to her). Speaking of Tricia - what an incredible woman!!! She was a champ today!!!
As I am sitting here loading these pictures, I can't help but think how proud I am today. Proud to be Tricia's husband - proud to be Braxton & Auston's daddy - proud to have such an incredible family who was there in the waiting room supporting us - proud to have awesome friends who stopped by, called or sent a text that really made us feel loved - and the thing I am most proud of and humbled by is my relationship with God who continues to bless our lives in ways that I could have never imagined. Thank you God for this AWESOME day!!!
Here are a few pictures. The rest of them are on kodak.com - You can check them out by going to this link: Auston’s_Pictures
