It is hard to believe, but Auston is already a month old. My how time flies!! It has been an exciting and exhausting month all at the same time. Our little guy is doing great and has grown so much in the last few weeks. He had his one month check-up today and he now weighs 9lbs, 12oz and has grown a half an inch! His head is a whopping 15 inches, which puts him in the 95-97% on the growth charts for head size. We are thinking that he is going to be EXTREMELY smart with all of that room for his brain to grow! His hair is still brown, but is falling out rather quickly. He is sporting a nice middle-aged man do right now (bald on top with some hair on the sides and back). His eyes are still grey, so we have yet to determine what color they will permanently be (is grey an option??). We have gotten confirmation from other witnesses that he does, in fact, have at least a little dimple on one side of his face, which pleases his mamma so much! It is just amazing to watch how much he changes from week to week. Big brother Braxton is doing great, too. He has been such a big helper, and he has mastered the art of putting a binkie in a screaming baby's mouth (it isn't as easy as it sounds!). He has been such a good big brother and we are so proud of him, too! Here are some pictures of both of our sweet boys. There are also some of Auston's first bath at 2 1/2 weeks old (yes, we bathe our children more than once every couple of weeks - we were waiting for the blessed "umbilical stump" to fall off!!).

Blastball Highlights
As promised, here is the highlight reel from Braxton's Blastball Game this past weekend. It may be a little long for the average viewer (about 7 minutes) but I'm his dad, so I loved every minute of it. Enjoy...

me and my boys
Me and my boys were watching a little of the NCAA Basketball Tournament when Tricia asked us to pause long enough for a picture. With three boys in the house now, my mission of "all sports all the time" on TV is almost complete.

Blastball
Braxton started his first season of Blastball this morning. In fact, not only is it his first Blastball season, it is his first team sport to participate in (you can only imagine how this makes a dad feel, seeing his boy getting dirty and having fun with the other boys).
So what is Blastball? Well, I would say it is a combination of tee-ball and organized chaos. One team plays the field and everyone stands on their own "carpet square". This way the team playing defense knows where to stand. The other team bats, and everyone on the team gets to hit. Once a player hits the ball he runs to first base only, where he then jumps on the base (yes, you can't just run through the base - you must jump on it because it has a horn in it that honks when you jump on it). The team in the field all take off after the ball once it's hit and the kid who gets to it first picks it up, holds it over their head and screams "Blastball". Once the batter has jumped on first base and the team in the field gets the ball - the play is over. Time for the next batter. I must say it is great fun to watch and our coach - Coach Todd Starnes does a great job with all of our little guys!!!
Here are a few pictures - I will try to put together a quick highlight video of Braxton's first game tomorrow and post it here as well, so make sure to check back for the "sportscenter plays of the day".

Home Sweet Home
Wednesday afternoon the hospital finally released Tricia and Auston. We are all excited to be home, including big brother Braxton. But don't let the sweet little picture of Braxton with Auston fool you, when we told Braxton it was time to go to Pops' and Nana's for the rest of the week - he jumped in the car so fast we could barely get a hug and kiss goodbye!!!
